This is 100% locally grown blend wool roving. The wool has a more natural, rustic medium handle, like traditional heritage sheep wools, and quite a lot of loft and spring to it. The spun yarn will be loftier and warmer to wear for better insulation in outer knitwear. This blend has beautiful dark grey base streaked with lighter grey throughout and warmer brown tones speckled within. It has a lovely "tweedy" look when it is spun. You can't beat the low budget pricing as well!

Most will fall out on it's own as you process it, and you can simply shake or pick out small pieces as you spin - or leave it in for a truly rustic and natural finished farm crafted yarn!
